My Art and Spirituallity 2006-11-30 I have been painting for over 30 years with about a 20yr hiatus until 5 years ago when I retired from one of the big 3 in Detroit (PhD Mechanical Engineering). I restarted my painting pursuit and have participated in numerous galleries and shows, selling a number of my pieces.
About the same time, I lost all spirituallity. I have never considered myself a "religious" person, but I have always been "spiritual" and believing in a "higher Power". That has truely gone by the wayside. Why? I don't know. I no longer "believe". When my life is over, IT'S OVER! My only legacy is my art and 6 kids (that I know of!)
I don't know what happened or why. If there are any ammature (or professional)Psychotherepists out there have any comments or suggestions, even to my art, I would welcome them.
Thanks.
Bill
