For me, sculpture is process, a fascination with constructing 3-D things. I begin with drawings and small models, the latter often of paper or wood. My overall objective is to explore a few of the innumerable facets of abstraction; such studies range from semi-abstract (stylized representations) to the completely non-representational. Final works may be painted.
I'm now a resident artist at Gallery 209, Artists and Makers II, Wilkens Ave., Rockville, Maryland.
