Alexandra Reyes was born in Jacksonville, FL on February 25,1990 and has lived in Northern Virginia for 12 years. After watching Disney's "The Lion King" as a child, Alexandra became highly interested in animals and the African culture.
In her spare time, she does paint pet portraits and her biggest community achievement yet was painted a 20 foot science mural at Schmalz Elementary School to help 5th graders pass TAKS. Alexandra will be starting her Veterinary Paramedics Degree in August at Houston Community College, and hopes to utilize her passion for animals and art to better the world she lives in.
Art is a language understood by many, but spoken by few. Using intersting concepts and unique effects helps create a piece a whole and helps the viewer understand about my main focus, wildlife conservation. Artwork should make the viewer think about the world around them, and insprire the viewer to change.
