Sharon's works of art are done in pastel, graphite and the occasional acrylic.
She is also a self taught artist.
With the nostalgic interests of things from yesteryear, Sharon is lead to
reproduce old photos of a time long ago, as well as things on Grandmothers
dresser, old toys, tractors, buildings and many other things that may catch
her eye.
Sharon has also been enamoured with the high desert wildflowers of New
Mexico, and has a series she is presently working on.

Just received from the framer is this Red 1957 Chevy Bel Air
with a chrome front end and the famous Bow-Tie emblem.
This is one in a series from 1956 through 1966
of American Classic Cars.

Great work. Love the cars and chrome. Amazing to me you have such control over pastels... I always hated instructors forcing me to use them...I found them messy, but yours are gorgeous. |
