I am passionate about still lifes, landscapes, figure paintings, dance and theater, portraits and interiors. Light, composition, form, flesh, color and emotional atmosphere are important in my artwork. My interests in the visual and performing arts are fairly broad. For example, many action drawings were done at dance, music and dramatic performances.
I have lived mostly around the American midwest, but also travelled a lot, notably Asia, Europe and North America, My background includes work in scientific areas and education.
