Pablo Picasso once said, "The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls." Art is a way to freely express our subconscious, our most hidden thoughts and emotions. After completing a sketch or painting, I feel a sense of relief and completeness. Picasso was right; art has its purpose in life. In essence, art is therapeutic to the mind, body, and soul.
