Living in the deserts of West Texas for the last several years. My mission has been to explore the paradox between the stark, quiet, solitude of the high desert and the colorful Mexican influence.
Whether it's a flame red cactus blossom floating on a sand wash.
Or the haunting eyes of a beggar child.
They all seem so alone.
Why then are they so brightly colored?
