i am interested in human beings as thinking-feeling social machines because that's how i can relate to them. i find it difficult to observe or interact with anyone without feeling what they feel. to me, the most beautiful and charming thing about human beings are their emotions. the more honest people are about their feelings, the more i want to be around them.
i use painting to express, isolate, and explore certain emotions. my paintings are so much more honest and thorough than i could ever be with words.
