Artist Statement
I paint because I must! My paintings develop as an overwhelming expression of the multi-dimensional aspects of both the seen and unseen. Painting; digital or acrylic on canvas, is the language I use to communicate “the something more” of what I see, think, feel and experience. Beyond the words my work expresses and records the ever expanding elements of one man’s life, mine!
Biography
Emery Bear’s paintings have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions throughout the United States. Showings of his work have included; the Gentle Wind Gallery in Columbus Ohio, the Valley Bronze Gallery in Joseph and Lincoln City Oregon, the Galleria Obscurea and the Fifth Dimension Gallery in Ashland Oregon, and the Buffalo Thunder Gallery in Corte Madera California.
