Born 1983, I lived on the Great Blasket for 10 years. I left school at 16 to work on my art, attended Thomastown Arts and Craft School. I was a member of Working Artist Studios, art collective Skibbereen for three years. I work in both 3D and 2D with an extensive variety of media. My work is influenced by the sentiment and lessons that I have found in mythology from all cultures, mainly irish, but also the simple driving urge and compulsion to create and to express myself in this way.
