I was born and raised in Michigan. Growing up I spend a great amount of time at our familys lake house and inquired a passion for the water. Some of my fondest memories were getting up early to walk down to the lake to see the sun glisten off the water. I lived in Michigan until I graduated high school. I now reside in the Great Smokey Mountains. I'm a self taught artist. I don't hold a degree in art, but I love what I do. To me, it's easy for I just follow my heart and do what comes natural. I've been paintings since I was a little girl. My mother recalls me standing in front of an easel painting as young as 5. I have a great passion to paint. It's almost like an internal healing process for me. It calms my life and has made me who I am. I prefer painting contemporary art the most. I believe it's the process of "color and design" I love so much. I enjoy blending contrasting, bold, vivid colors.
