Since childhood, Crystal has always been interested in art. Her brother excelled in art in his teenage years, and in traditional sibling rivalry, Crystal wished to best him and thus began a never-ending journey of art creation.
Crystal has done work in printmaking, oil, acrylic, ink, pencil crayon, pastel, watercolour, photography, and virtually everything else she can get her hands on. Crystal does not limit herself to any particular subject matter or media. She does not focus on landscapes or still lives, for example, but rather anything and everything that encompasses life itself.
Crystal is currently completing a degree in History in Art to widen her contextual understanding of art. While in school, Crystal is taking affordably-priced commissions.
