I recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Fine Art. I've been drawing since about age three, and being an artist was always what I wanted to do. My artwork is a combination of surrealism and abstraction. I also do portraits, landscapes and illustrations, which are representational. The subject matter usually deals with memories, past experiences, or whatever is going on in my life at the time my paintings are created. I usually go through many layers and underpaintings to get to my finished product. I hope when viewers look at my work they can find a personal meaning in the painting and relate to it in their own way.
