Wolfang Peter Anton is truly an artist by nature. He creates oil paintings and pencil drawings, some shown in juried exhibitions, but he's never had any artistic education or training and in addition, he's color blind. As a self-tought musician, he had great success as performing and recording artist in Europe. He composed a number of songs and many instrumental pieces, of which some were featured in films and videos. However, he can't read or write music. It's all in his head and in his heart.

Hi and thanks for your interest. Since I was a young child, I have been drawing, painting and making some kind of musical noise.
In 1970, I founded my first band and we performed almost every weekend in some night club or lounge. In 1981, I formed a new group, "The four Windows", which became quite successful in Europe. TV gigs, Radio, Stage, a record contract with EMI. It was a great time!
In 1987, I moved to Florida and now I live in Naples, Florida. We have wonderful art galleries here, from humble, small ones to the grand, two story ones. Many great artists live here and display their work in art shows and galleries.
I joined the Naples Art Society beginning of 2006 and was lucky enough to have 2 of my portraits picked by an acclaimed art critic and author of several art books, for the exhibition "Emotions on the Surface".
Some of my paintings are always "in the works", some I finish in a couple of hours or less. Some drive me crazy and I'm tempted sometimes to cut off one of my ears!
