your right Angela. Frank Miller's graphic novel Sin City as well as Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver, where large (visual) influences on CITY OF LOST SOULS. The literary influence was James Ellroy's The Black Dahlia.

I'm also a big fan of Neil Gaiman's Sandman series. I loosely baste ENCORE, on his character Death.

I'm a repressed musician. I think "Keys" and "Oranges and Blood" are great pieces!
