Name: Sara Garrard

Home Town: Cockermouth, Cumbria.
In 2002 Sara began to further her education at Cumbria’s Institute of the Arts, attaining a BTEC National Diploma In Fine Art. The defining moment of the college years came when Sara was nationally selected to exhibit a ‘Paper Sculpture’ in London’s Museum of Science and Industry in 2001.
After exhibiting her work at the ‘Blooming Student’s Exhibition 2002’ at Cumbria Institute of the Arts,
Sara moved onto higher education at the University of Central Lancashire. During her 3 year BA (Hons) Graphic Design degree Sara worked part-time at bfp Design, finally exhibiting her university work and achievements at the 2005 UCLAN Degree Show.
Sara graduated in July 2005 with a 2:1 and was instantly successful at obtaining full-time employment with Preston’s newest design company, Incito. Sara remains a member of the Incito team and
actively freelances in the art and design industry.
