Being born in Canada gave me a real appreciation for the beautiful outdoors with all it's variations in color and texture. Studying design/architecture in college taught me how to put onto paper what I was seeing in my mind.
I started painting about 12 yrs ago and absolutely love this medium to express my creativity. Working in oils gives me the ability to produce colorful landscapes with texture and vitality. I want the viewer to see the beauty in a peaceful country scene and feel the quiet solitude of a majestic lighthouse at the coast. To me, art is an important part of life and can be appreciated by everyone! Looking at something that gives you pleasure adds to the pleasure of your life.
