Childhood is reflective to growing up in the rural area of Chesterfield Township, New Baltimore, Michigan. My attraction to the lakes, wildlife and woods originated by being steps from, on or in Salt River and Lake St. Clair. Living numerous places across Michigan has given me a unique focus for the beauty and balance, of architectural design; still life; landscape; seascape and portrait art.
My advanced art studies include classes in Architectural Design, Portrait Sketching and Art History. Art pieces have been displayed at Wildwood Gallery;Cass City,Mi.;Larabell Lane; Caseville,Mi.;Gwinn Bank;Gwinn,Mi.and numerous juried shows throughout the state.
I was the recipient of two Honorable Mention Awards,from the Huron Shoreline Gallery of Fine Art,Tawas,Michigan.
I reside near the high banks west of Oscoda. In my cabin,I create artwork, book illustrations and prose. Favorite mediums to work with include pencil,acrylic and pastel.
