Heart to Art is the name I chose for my original art and imprints because my purpose in creating them is to tell a story— the story of the Afro-American community, its pride, its beauty, its trials and emotions.
I was born in NYC and raised in central New Jersey and now I’m raising my own family in eastern Maryland. I have a full-time career in the medical profession, but I return to my art whenever there is a story to be told. I have created a large selection of original Afro-centric art in many media available for purchase or licensing -- and I also do custom and portrait work.
