Abstract
Initially a recognized sculptor, Dan Boos has also now established himself in as a painter. He demonstrates considerable dexterity in transfering his acute sense of form and texture in both mediums. He has surprised many a critic with his use of colors, combining contrasting subtle applications with bold aggressive attacks upon the canvas. His work harkens to Pollock and Hofmann, yet it is clearly his own. One would have to argue that his work is experimental, but it experimentation worth viewing. H.W. Moore
