Abstract
This dual upbringing has given Miguel a unique outlook on the world, having experienced both the big city life as well as that of the small town countryside.
Miguel developed a love of the arts at a very early age. His late grandmother, a native of Spain, encouraged Miguel to explore his passion. She instilled in him a deep sense of pride in his Hispanic roots as well as an undying faith and love in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Named for the archangel Michael, Miguel has studied theology since the age of 6. His artwork tends to portray a distinct spiritual undertone. Biblical images such as crosses are often depicted in much of his work. His passion for his Spanish and Salvadorian upbringing is demonstrated by the bold touches of colors accenting his sketches and paintings.
