Abstract
Alvaro Arrosamena is a Latin American multimedia artist based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Painter, performer and director of his own performance group “Transperformance” since 1999. The performing arts are for Arrosamena the communion and the result of different studio experiences which combines the spiritual and the sociopolitical subjects. His studio workshops includes biorhythmical group experiences, meditation, analysis and group discussions with the creation of site specific and multimedia installations for performance purposes.
Arrosamena has presented several Art performances, Public performances and Rituals in various locations and spaces in Sweden and Uruguay. The artist sees the performance like the art nexus for the fluid communication between the magic moment of creation and individuals of the society.
