I have always loved art, and studied it in high school and then at Seneca College in Toronto, where I received an honors certificate in Fashion Arts and Merchandising. I took up watercolor painting about 6 years ago, and am mostly self-taught, but have taken courses with the Royal Ontario Museum to improve my technique. I also paint in acrylics, and do pencil and charcoal sketches.

My Latest Passion 2012-01-17 Well, it's been quite some time since I've posted anything. Indeed, it's been some time since I painted anything. Life just seems to get in the way, but I have managed to do 3 new watercolors in the past few weeks.
My latest passion is painting nudes. I think the human body is beautiful and there is so much inspiration out there. I'm sure I will be adding many more in this genre. Hope you like them.
Under the Ocean 2010-11-01 Well I haven't posted for a while, but I have managed to do a few new watercolors. I'm really intrigued by what's under the ocean, so I will be exploring many new techniques to create my paintings. I find it very freeing and feel myself breaking away from the hard, rigid lines I was previously painting in. I think I will be doing a lot more of this type of work. Hope you enjoy what I am creating.
Watercolor Batik 2010-09-10 I just tryed out a new technique - it's a variation of Watercolor Batik that doesn't use wax. I read a cool how to by Nicolas Simmons and was immediately intrigued. My first attempt is posted in my on-line gallery- it's called "Under the Sea". I would love for some of my peers to critique it and my other work . Thanks.
Trip to Oregon Coast 2012-01-17 I've just returned from visiting my sister in Oregon. I can't wait to start painting some of the beautiful scenery I saw along the coastline there.
