I studied art in grade school and at a technical college. I did a lot of drawings, paintings and a few sculptures. I did average work, but every once in awhile I would do something that seemed to get peoples attention. Needing a real job, I gravitated toward graphic arts as it applies to the printing industry. Once I started to move away from the printing industry I started exploring my creative side again. What I quickly discovered was my drawing and painting skills had diminished. I like to think they would have returned if I stuck with it, but I no longer had the patience I once had. I still needed some kind of creative outlet and it seemed foolish to not use my graphics skills. I shifted focus, picked up a camera and starting using photos to capture and create.
Is it photography? Is it graphics? Does putting the two together make art? I will let you decide. While you are debating that, I’ll be capturing more moments and creating more pictures. I hope you see something you enjoy
