Nature is my source for endless subjects, from simple forms to complex patterns it is always compelling. It is abstract and exotic, with repetition of shapes and patterns, the interplay of light and shadow and the amazing range of colors. Recently moving back to the bay area I have rediscovered its magic. I am pleased to share my interpretation of the beauty we have around us.
I began my study of art as a teen at Rocky Mountain School of Art, then at Colorado State University and received my BFA from California College of Arts in Oakland, CA. Always in the creative mind, I spent many years in marketing and advertising as an art director, creative director and agency owner. But painting has always been my joy, relaxation and passion.
